Site clean-up after every job

At Hive Tree Services, we take pride in the way we leave each job, with a thorough clean-up and tidying process.

Leaving a good impression is important

Taking responsibility to clean up after making a mess is what our parents taught us to do

During the process of any sort of tree job, the work site can soon be covered in branches, clippings, sawdust, leaves and timber. We take cleaning up after ourselves quite seriously, as people's environments are in one sense, their own sacred space. This means that we endeavour to treat your garden with the same level of care and attention that we would give our own.

Creating and growing a thriving garden space takes time, which means that a neglected garden won't be restored in just one pruning session. It takes years of work to establish outdoor spaces that revive the soul. What we endeavour to bring is a sense of leaving the cleanliness of any job site in a similar or better state then what we found it in. There are some exceptions, for instance, where jobs require all trees to be removed, and new building and landscaping works are proposed.

We do our best to remove any valuables on site, such as potted plants, statues, seating arrangements or clothes lines in order to minimise damage. Upon finishing the tree work, we place all belongings back to their original spots and we do a thorough job to clean the site prior to us leaving. One of the most consistent comments we receive in our post-work satisfaction surveys is that our team took the time to ensure that the site was left in a neat and presentable manner.

Don't just take our word for it

"

'From obtaining a quote, to work on the day, David and his team were professional, efficient and exceptional. David impressed from the beginning with excellent knowledge, and the job report was concise, covering all discussed tasks. The job report was most helpful when checking in with council about works to be undertaken under Heritage Victoria. We will definitely use and recommend Hive due to the expertise, care and safety exhibited during the removal of trees, along with the excellent communication, punctuality and cleanliness of the site at the completion of the works.'

'The entire team’s knowledge of trees, advice, and ability to attend to urgent matters on a very challenging property is outstanding, and something which extends throughout all aspects of their business. We have had the privilege of Hive attend to very complex tree issues over many years, as well as rely on them to give us truthful limb protection and safety advice annually. It’s with all that awareness we regularly recommend Hive to members of our family and friends, many of whom have become ongoing customers too. We can’t thank Hive enough for all their support and look forward to many more years of collaboration!'

Our Process

Leaving a clean site is like finishing a race well

Once the tree-cutting, pruning or hedging process has been completed, all of the material is processed through our woodchipper or mulcher. There may be some firewood to consider leaving, moving to the nature strip, or removing from the site. The tree stumps are cut down to ground level, ready for stump-grinding or for removal to be scheduled. It is at this stage of the process that we are near the end of the job. Our team will typically start bringing out the wheelbarrows and the garden rakes at this point. Depending on the particulars of the site, the client, and the request from the client, we get to work to return to the site a sense of normality, functionality and cleanliness.

What makes us different?

We are passionate about listening to our clients' dreams, and helping them create garden spaces that are safe, functional and beautiful.
