What makes us different

Industry-leading Job Reports

Our approach to listening and making recommendations on the tree work in your garden is with the mindset of creating spaces in which we ourselves would want to be in.

Using pictures to enhance clarity

At Hive Tree Services, we value clear and effective communication. Whether you are a homeowner, a tenant, or a property manager, we endeavour to take the time to listen to your tree-related needs, concerns, and your medium to long-term plans for your property. We take pictures while on site and we go away to prepare a written job report to help provide clarity about the scope of work, and where required, the reasons for our recommendations.

'One picture is worth a thousand words.' – Albert Einstein

Through the use of photos, we aim to bring clarity and transparency about what branches we propose to prune off, or what height the hedge will be, or what shape the tree will have once we are finished. This sort of information presented in pictorial form helps empower you to make informed decisions and to understand the outcomes.

From time to time, it is important for us to put into words some of the unique industry-language, as the variety of options, and job specifics are all-too-often hard to remember in one face-to-face conversation. Our Job Reports then become a great tool for you to share with your partner, spouse, neighbour, tenant, landlord, or other invested parties. Sometimes, our clients even take our reports to their local council to help them communicate their tree dangers, to justify their tree needs or to help support their applications.

Hive Tree Services Melbourne our team

Getting a Job Report for your tree work is simple

  1. Call our friendly admin team to make a time that suits both you and a representative of our production team.
  2. We come out to inspect the scope of tree work on your property at the agreed time. You can choose to be present if you would like to talk through certain details with us, or you can arrange for us to quote on your tree work without you being there. We take the necessary pictures of your tree/s and make notes on what work is required to complete your job.
  3. We go away and spend the time writing up your job report.
  4. We email the job report to you for your careful consideration. Once you have provided feedback about the scope of work and you are happy to go ahead with the tree work, our admin team can book your job into our calendar, at a time that is mutually convenient.

Most Job Reports include:

A description of the tree work requested

'Before' photos and a site map of your property

Site inspection findings

A project plan which includes the crew and equipment required

Scope of works

Risk management outline

Permits required (if any)

Our terms and conditions

Our pricing schedule (attached separately)
